Android Nougat comes with a lot of interesting features which will improve the productivity significantly. The latest Android comes with Multi-Window mode built in natively into the operating system. Using this, you can run multiple applications simultaneously by dividing the screen into two divisions.

There is also a direct reply option in the notification tray. This will enable you to reply instantly to any notification right from the pull-down menu without the need to open the application. A Quick Switch mode is also present which will let you switch from one app to another just by double clicking the overview button.

Google has increased the battery endurance in the latest Android OS by introducing a smarter Doze mode. The new Doze mode has the capability to detect if it is in transit in some pocket or bag when it automatically terminates unnecessary processes to enhance the battery performance.

The new operating system comes with support for the powerful VulkanTM API. This is one of the most advanced 3D developing API in the market. We can certainly hope to see some of the best graphics intensive game developed for Android soon.

The first device to get the taste of the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box will be the forthcoming LG V20. We are looking forward to more manufacturers to announce their timeline of upgrading to the latest Android.
