Google Inc – Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) recently unveiled Android Auto – an autonomous car project at its annual developer conference, Google I/O at Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco. Search giant Google demonstrated several possibilities to its developers, which in turn grows a care for its customers. Google is already in talk with several car manufacturers, and the upcoming card models will hit the road, powered by Android technology.

This will grant your car all the mandatory capabilities without your direct involvement into any of them. You can easily have what you need at your fingertips. Let’s say it can be a turn-by-turn navigation from Google Maps, your curated playlists and radio stations through Play Music, simple-to-use voice search, and reminders from Google Now.
Android Auto is all about accessing all these tasks right through your car’s controls. Google has started this initiative considering its user’s safety in count, and company don’t want its users to risk their life while they are driving.

Google says we can expect Android Auto to become reality by the end of this year. Right now company partnered with 28 automakers including Abarth, Acura, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Bentley, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Ram, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Volkswagen, and Volve.
