Apple is scheduled to launch Pink version of iPhone 5se in addition to Silver and Space Gray variants on March 25 along with the much awaited iPad Air 3. There were rumors about the naming of the new device, but it seems Apple has apparently settled with iPhone 5se.
Compared with the pink shade of the seventh-generation iPod nano and sixth-generation iPod touch, the upcoming iPhone 5se is expected to boast a dark pink color which will be brighter than the Rose Gold iPhone 6s.
A popular Japanese technology site has revealed that they have not seen the pink shade of the upcoming iPhone but confirmed that the color will not be the same as the iPhone 6s, which features a rose gold color.
It’s unlikely that Apple will release a Gold color variant of iPhone 5se since the company has reserved Rose Gold color for higher versions of iPhone with a 5.5-inch display.
Expected to be equipped with a 4-inch curved cover glass display, the iPhone 5se will feature A9 processor, 8MP primary camera, and 1.2MP front-facing shooter, also to Apple Pay, Siri, and Touch ID support.
To be powered by a larger battery than iPod touch, iPhone 5se will provide support for NFC and other connectivity features including a lightning connector.
If the above specifications turn out to be true, then the upcoming iPhone 5se will be the same as iPod touch expect the fact that the new device will have a dual-SIM slot.
While there is no clear indication of the type of display, experts are of the opinion that the iPhone 5se should, at least, feature AMOLED display to compete with Android smartphones on the market.
On the contrary, another leading website disclosed that iPhone 5se will be coming in Rose Gold and not Hot Pink. The report categorically denies all rumors about the availability of Pink variant and revealed that the upcoming device will ship in Silver, Space Gray, Gold and Rose Gold colors.
Along with iPhone 5se, Apple is scheduled to launch iPad Air 3, iPad mini and MacBook in Silver, Space Gray, Gold and Rose Gold colors.
