The latest Android OS version by Google, Android 7.0 Nougat has reached only countable number of devices. Google’s Nexus smartphones and LG V20 are a few of them. The new entrant to add to the list is Elephone P9000, which is confirmed to receive Android 7.0 Nougat by mid-November. As per the company officials, all the P9000 users will get an OTA update. Meanwhile, the update is under testing phase and will be released by next month.

The latest Android update will bring customization functionality, improved interface, and new features. Elephone P9000 will be able to make use of the Split-screen feature for multi-tasking. The Doze mode has been improved to save more battery while the device is not in use. Another highlight is ‘quick reply’ that allows users to reply to the messages directly through the notification panel while the screen is locked. Talking about Elephone P9000, the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display packed with Helio P10 SoC, 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM (expandable).
