Canada: Google proudly announced today, the launch of what can possibly, as per them, bring a kind of revolution in the realm of the internet, their own WiFi router called as OnHub. Priced at $199.99, the Smart OnHub Wireless Router will be available in two color variants i.e. Black and Blue.
Google claims that this router is quite easy to set up and work with. Troubleshooting too is more convenient as compared to other routers available in the market.
With this OnHub WiFi Router, all the worries regarding the ever fluctuating internet speeds, managing lengthy wires and always striving hard to get the router placed at locations that can fetch the best performances out of the router, will come to an end.
With the company’s app called Google On that will work on all iOS as well as Android devices, users will be able to manage all the connected devices. They will also be able to visualize the speed the devices are getting, and much more.
The company has experimented well with the look of a WiFi router, giving it a cylindrical shape making it look like a pretty speaker. Plus, the cords, yes the worst part about most of the routers, have been removed and replaced by as many as 13 internal antennas.
The lightning part is also optimized, and users will not be irritated by that ever blinking light anymore.
The router has been created in partnership with TP-Link and perfectly supports 802.11 b/g/n/ac along with 5GHz Wi-Fi. It is supposed to be supporting smart home devices in the coming time.
Official Introduction of Google’s OnHub WiFi Router
The OnHub WiFi Routers will be available in two color variants i.e. Blue and Black. Whereas, the pre-orders for the router are already about to be closed even after being priced at $199.99.
Waiting to lay hands on Google’s OnHub seems little difficult but luckily for the residents of U.S and Canada, most likely by the end of August 2015.
And for the global users, OnHub Wi-Fi Router will take some time as it has to be tested well and only if the things go smooth it will knock the doors of other countries as well.
