MacBook Pro 2016 release date: Early release to counter falling sales

Apple is gearing up to release MacBook Pro 2016 early on account of the sales drop. According to sources, Apple suffered an 8.3 percent decline in the overall sales of its products, and the introduction of a brand new MacBook Pro 2016 is the only way forward to address the loss.

The latest report released by IDC revealed the fact that Apple shipped 4.4 million PCs worldwide in Q2 2016 compared to 4.8 million during the same quarter cycle last year. With HP, Dell, Acer posted double-digit growth in the overall PC shipment, Lenovo also experienced a small drop in the shipments. When compared with all laptop manufacturers, Apple is trailing behind to occupy a dominant position on the market.

  1. It makes sense to replace the row of function keys with a reprogrammable OLED strip, especially since Apple has changed the assignment of some of these keys over the course of the Macbook and the earlier Powerbook series. I’m guessing that the user will be able to choose between the current function key layout for consistency’s sake, and custom layouts that the user can create for access to functions that are more useful to them–many users don’t often (or at all) use the window-rearranging keys, the keys to control keyboard brightness, etc., and so it would be nice to be able to invoke a custom row of function keys that has some controls that are more useful for each user.
