All metal Elephone C1 to feature a rear fingerprint scanner

Chinese smartphone maker Elephone has leaked some important design and hardware details about the Elephone C1, scheduled to launch soon. The firm has confirmed that the forthcoming competitively priced smartphone will sport an all-metal body with a rear fingerprint system.

The smartphone coming in the second half of 2016 is said to have perfect ID design by the company. Elephone says that the smartphone to be powered by advanced fingerprint identification system for easy and rapid fingerprint unlocking.

Elephone C1 Specifications: 5.5-inch HD display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The Elephone C1 will come with a full metal body with 5.5-inch HD display, 4-core MT6737 CPU processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage space. It comes with support for MicroSD card slot to expand the storage capacity up to 64GB. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Speaking of its camera details, it has 13MP primary and 2MP selfie camera. The camera is bundled with double flash to support fast focus and touch focus. The camera has a recording resolution of 1080p. The company has been stressing on its competitive price. It seems like the Elephone C1 will proof to be stiff competition for other budget Chinese smartphones.

Elephone C1 will add to the list of already launched smartphones like Elephone S3, Elephone P9000, Elephone P9000Lite, Elephone M3, Elephone M2, Elephone P8000, and Elephone S1.
