Oppo F1 Plus with 16MP front-facing camera, VOOC charging and fingerprint scanner will be available for pre-order in India from April 11 across online and offline retail stores in Gold and Rose Color variants at a price tag of Rs. 26990.
Touted as “selfie expert’ smartphone, the main USP of the handset is the inclusion of 16-megapixel front-facing shooter, which is specially designed to capture high-quality selfies.
Moreover, the camera has an exclusive customized sensor, which is reported to provide four times extra sensitivity than the previous models to deliver crisp, accurate and brighter selfies.
The 2850mAh battery equipped with Oppo Selfie Expert F1 Plus features support for VOOC flash charging technology, which enables you to charge the device in just five minutes using 5V low voltage charger. It also offers two hours of talk time with the ability to deliver 250 hours of standby time.
On the specifications front, the Oppo F1 Plus is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 616 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB) loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop on the top of ColorOS 3.0.
The primary camera on the back, meanwhile, has a 13MP sensor with support for expert mode, LED flash and Phase-detection autofocus. Talking about the 16MP front-facing snapper, Oppo has integrated a new beautification mode named Beautify 4.0 including features such as f/2.2 aperture, selfie panorama, and palm gestures.
Additionally, the Oppo F1 Plus features sleep power saving to improve the battery life of the device and also incorporates an app clearing feature to improve the performance of the phone.
With 1.66mm bezel on both sides, the Oppo F1 Plus also comes with a fingerprint scanner with a ceramic sensor located on the physical home button, which is capable of unlocking the device in 0.2 seconds.
Oppo has also announced the appointment of ace cricket player Yuvraj Singh as their brand ambassador and will open 35000 sales points with 180 service centers including an exclusive factory unit in Noida by the end of 2016.
