Pokemon Go India release date: Might arrive on Windows Phone

Pokemon Go India release is on its ways, and now Microsoft has announced that the game will be available in the Windows Store soon. This was disclosed by the Microsoft Portugal’s Facebook page in a comment to a post.

The post was an appeal to Microsoft for bringing the Pokemon Go to the users of Windows Phone. To which the company replied –

“Hi Rafael,

The application will be home soon, which refers to the windows phone store.

Thank you,

Team Microsoft Portugal” (translated)

But strangely, now, the comment has been deleted replaced by a new comment mentioning –

“Dear fans, we apologize if the comment published previously you induced in error. We have actually received requests for this application will be available for windows phone. The store windows is evaluating options to satisfy this request in the best possible way. We promise to keep you abreast of any developments.” (translated)

This fresh comment indicates that there is still no assurance of Pokemon Go’s availability for Windows Phone users. We do hope Microsoft finds a way to bring the highly acclaimed game to the Windows Store pretty soon.
