Samsung focuses on evolving its flagship Galaxy Note 4

Samsung priced its flagship Galaxy Note 4 phablet at INR 58,300 in India, packed with its SPen, improved software and attractive features. The phablet screens a 5.7inch display with a faux leather removable back panel. While Samsung restricted the display size, it improved display resolution at par with industry standards.

Samsung also seems to have worked on improving user experience with its SPen, which offers writing experience as close to writing with a pen and paper.

To ensure that users doesn’t miss on using the SPen feature optimally, Samsung continued to offer automatic pop-up once the S-Pen is removed from the back.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also features 16MP camera optics, making it one of the best smartphone cameras of recent times. The camera helps to capture details neatly, bright and sharp. Front camera has also been improved with 3.7 MP fit to enable better quality of video calling and selfie capturing.

Late in December, Samsung launched the third variant of Galaxy Note 4 ‘S-LTE’ with high-end Tri-band Carrier Aggregation technology. The new technology enables the device’s modem chip to achieve 300 Mbps download speed. Samsung will sell this variant in the home market of South Korea via major carrier, SK Telecom. However, the company hasn’t announced the release date or pricing info for this new variant.

The device is packed with Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3 GB RAM, Adreno 420 GPU and 3,220 mAh battery with super-fast charging capability. It offers 32 GB of built-in storage expandable up to 96 GB via microSD.

Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS and features UV sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1 and Download booster. The device highlights Samsung’s commitment to providing innovation within the telecommunications industry, said JK Shin, CEO and President, IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.
