Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro was recently released in India with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. LeEco unveiled its second-generation flagship smartphone Le 2 in May.
Le 2 ships with improved specifications and reduced heating than its previous counterpart, Le 1s. LeEco has modified the processor to Snapdragon, which was the main reason for excess heating in both Le 1s and Le 1s Eco.
Display and Performance
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro comes with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. However, Le 2 features 5.5-inch FHD In-Cell IPS display with a pixel density of 403 PPI.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro features Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. However, Le 2 offers 3GB RAM, 32GB of non-expandable internal storage coupled with a powerful Snapdragon 652 processor. You should note that it is possible to expand the internal storage of the Galaxy J2 Pro up to 128GB, which is not possible in Le 2.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro offers 8MP rear camera sensor and 5MP front-facing snapper with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and autofocus. Meanwhile, Le 2 comes with 16MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP front camera with dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
Le 2 features a 3000mAh battery, which is higher than the 2600mAh battery in Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro. Moreover, Le 2 provides support for fast charging technology via USB Type-C port.
Both Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro and Le 2 features Android Marshmallow, which enables you to work with all the latest features of the Android like doze effect.
LeEco Le 2 includes a unique Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology, which enables you to experience real world music via USB Type-C port. However, you need to make use of a special earphone available for the purpose. Le 2 is manufactured using full metal unibody design paired with patented fingerprint technology and LeEco supertainment package for one year. The package provides you access to unlimited Live TV, videos, and music.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro ships with turbo speed technology that enables you to experience lag free performance. The new smart glow feature automatically colors code contacts, apps, and phone usage alerts. The smart-notifier integrated with the user interface enables you to set priority for notifications.
Moreover, the app tray provides support for vertical scroll navigation. Samsung has designed the new Galaxy J2 Pro in such a way that it reduces 4G data consumption by up to 50 percent via ultra-data saving mode.
Le 2 is priced at Rs. 11,999, which is higher than the Galaxy J2 Pro available at Rs. 9,890.
We recommend Le 2 because it offers higher RAM, storage, enhanced camera features, better UI alongside fast charging. Furthermore, you will get fast support via Le Forums. The free one year of supertainment package helps you to watch live TV channels including popular videos and music shows.
If you want to buy a smartphone with expandable memory, you can consider Galaxy J2 Pro but you have to satisfy with 2GB RAM and trimmed camera specifications. Otherwise, Le 2 emerges as a winner even though the price is on a higher side.
