Samsung recently unveiled two new budget phones, the Galaxy On 5 and the Galaxy On 7 in India. However, the main objective for this lineup, according to the company, is the value for money. Samsung is apparently targeting young consumers through these devices.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 and On7 are priced quite aggressively and are packed with features and capabilities such as Ultra Data saving (UDS) and 4G LTE support.
Talking about the specifications, Samsung Galaxy On5 features a 5″ HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The dimensions for this smartphone is 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm and weighs around 172g.
The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. In the camera department, this device features an 8MP rear autofocus camera and a 5MP front camera.
Samsung Galaxy On5 comes with 8GB inbuilt which is expandable via microSD card. The device features a 3,000 mAh battery.
Except for the larger display, different processor, larger battery and better rear camera resolution, Samsung Galaxy On7 has specifications somewhat similar to that of Galaxy On5.
Samsung Galaxy On7 has a 5.5″ HD, 720 x 1280 pixel resolution display and runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor alongside 1.5GB of RAM.
Talking about the camera, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The overall dimensions of the phone are 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm, and it weighs 172 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 is priced at Rs. 8,990 and the Samsung Galaxy On7 is priced at Rs. 10,990. Both these devices are available to purchase on Flipkart.
