The domestic mobile technology company, Swipe Technologies has teamed up with Uber to offer limited experience of Elite 2 4G smartphone, exclusively for Uber riders in selected cities Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune from 30th October to 7th November.
After receiving a prodigious response for its recently launched Swipe Elite smartphone from its consumers, the company now plans to hit the markets with its new offering Elite 2. This move will offer the opportunity to the Uber users to grab the device seven days earlier it goes on sale via Flipkart.com.
“Elite has been a huge success and our new flagship smartphone was sold out on Flipkart within no time. We are now coming up with the most affordable 4G offering and would like to take our customer’s experience to the next level,” said Mr. Shripal Gandhi – Founder & CEO at Swipe Technologies.
The Swipe Elite 2 boasts a 4.5-inch Quad-HD IPS display. Powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz Quad Core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, the device offers 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
On the camera front, the Elite 2 sports an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash support and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out-of-the-box. The device comes equipped with a 1,900mAh battery.

Priced at Rs. 4,699, the Swipe Elite 2 will be available to buy on Flipkart from 7th November, 2015.
The entire process of purchasing the Elite 2 is kept simple and through Cash-On-Delivery (COD). Users need to upload a receipt of their latest Uber ride on the company’s official website in order to place the order of the smartphone.
Few lucky winners will also get a chance to win the Elite 2 smartphone by engaging with Swipe and Uber via a contest on Social Media.
