Swipe Technologies had started their operations in 2012, and in a short period of time has joined the forefront of the Indian smartphone industry in the country. Considering that the company has started manufacturing lower budget phones and are moving up with the specifications and price range, speculations say that the upcoming event can be for the launch of a device in the range of a higher RAM, processor, camera and a better display. The startup has constantly been in the news for their efforts to raise funds for their R&D and in talks for multiple  acquisitions this year.

The company raised $5 million in 2014 and since then the CEO Mr. Shipral Gandhi has won several accolades like “Top 50 Inspiring Entrepreneurs of India” by the Economic times and “CNBC Young Turks”. The company is one of the startups on wheels to a fast track success.
