Jun Lei, Chief Executive Office of Xiaomi has confirmed that the ‘Mi Band 2‘ fitness tracker will be launched in June 2016.
Earlier, the company had planned to launch the band at its May 10 event this week, but due to manufacturing difficulties, the Chinese mobile manufacturer has decided to delay it for a month. News about the launch confirmation first came in a report published by ‘The Android Headlines’ on May 12, 2016.
Xiaomi CEO has confirmed that there is no need of waiting more for this impeccable device, as it will reach the customers within a month. The Mi Band 2 comes with an LCD screen, and it also has a round physical button.
The new ‘Mi Band 2′ is capable in providing various information which includes, date, time, step count, calorie burning rate etc. You will also get notifications of calls and messages through this advanced gadget. With the help of Mi Band 2, it is also possible to unlock your smartphone remotely.
Many Xiaomi fans believe that the ‘Mi Band 2′ will offer call and music support facilities. We should wait for some more days to know about the complete specifications of this gadget.
In its May 10 event, Xiaomi unveiled various products which include, iHealth Box (A Health tracking device), Mi Max smartphone and MIUI 8 custom ROM.
The Xiaomi iHealth Box is expected to create revolutions in the healthcare industry. Its will help the users in measuring various medical related matrics which include, blood pressure, heart beat etc. The box is equipped with a 4.5 inch screen, and it will show the readings while connected with WiFi.
The company also launched a 10,000mAh MI power bank at a price of 1500 INR. The power bank is designed in the most stylish manner, and it comes with a USB Type-C port.
