Xiaomi Redmi 3S sale starts June 30, Here’s how to buy budget smartphone in India

Xiaomi Redmi 3S is now available for pre-order on GearBest at a price tag of $151.89 with free global shipping. Touted as the budget smartphone, the Redmi 3S is manufactured with a full metal unibody design.

The main attraction of Redmi 3S is that the device comes with the fingerprint sensor on the rear side. On the specifications front, the Redmi 3S features a 5-inch HD IPS display, Snapdragon 430 processor loaded with MIUI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It ships with a 4100mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging technology

While the Xiaomi Redmi 3, launched in January is equipped with a Snapdragon 616 processor, the newly released Redmi 3S is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with both 16GB and 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB) flavors. The base variant consisting of 16GB storage offers 2GB RAM, the 32GB internal storage model ships with 3GB RAM.

While the Xiaomi Redmi 3S features 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus, HDR mode, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and LED flash, the front-facing snapper is equipped with a 5MP sensor with support for FHD video recording.

Available in gray, silver, and gold color variants, the Redmi 3S will be available in select markets across China and India. We don’t have any confirmation as to when the smartphone will be officially launched in the US.
