Bizarre Sea Creature Found In Australia Looks Like Human Body Part

A team of scientists in Australia from the Museum Victoria and others from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) has discovered a unique species of deep-sea worm that resembles a human penis. Based on the news updates from the International Business Times (IBT), the worm is known as the ‘Peanut Worm’ and it resides in a void along the Australia’s eastern coast. The creature co-exists among other weird alien sea beasts.

Researchers stumbled on the phallic creature when undertaking an underwater mission to the sea floor which is strewn with heaps of trash from the sea shore. The scientists, according to IBT are optimistic that their discovery would spark the interest from the public on what happens under the water. Since the discovery, the peanut worm has attracted a lot of discussion from various experts and conservationists about how best to preserve the little monster.

When the worm is terrorized it pulls back its mushroom-like-cap head into a duct of its body that resembles a peanut. The worm unsurprisingly looks exactly like a human penis. The researchers had completed their month-long trip when they noticed an unusual creature lurking in the deep oceans. During their expedition, the researchers also found out another creature, a faceless fish.

The deep abyss of the Australia’s coast is still unknown to many researchers. Hence, the researchers from CSIRO and the Museum Victoria are undertaking a mission off the eastern coast to uncover the weird creatures lurking deep in the oceans. The recently discovered faceless fish looks strange and it’s currently being examined by the Investigator.

The faceless creature was found in the deep sea about 4,000 meters and it has no eyes on the outside. The two strange creatures only prove how diverse the creation is and that the extraordinary developments are not bound to a particular range of species in the world. According to previous studies, the abnormalities are as a result of some misfires that occur during the conception. Most of these creatures do not survive long after birth.
