iPhone 8 is not delayed; three new 2017 iPhone models get into trial production phase

While a handful of leaks and reports have pointed towards the rescheduling of Apple iPhone 8’s official launch, a new claim, made by Twitter leaker Benjamin Geskin today has confirmed that the device’s official launch schedule is not deferred. As the new report highlights, iPhone 8 alongside two new iPhone models including iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus have entered into the trial production phase and will be launched as per the usual launch pattern of Apple Inc. (AAPL).

As quoted by Benjamin Geskin in his latest tweet, “Apple has started the mass production of the major-redesigned model – the much-awaited iPhone 8 and the iterative updates of ‘7s’ to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.” While earlier reports hinted iPhone 8 to hit the production firm in November, the latest tweet of Benjamin Geskin has completely denied it and claimed that iPhone 8 would be ramped up in August, a month earlier than the usual new iPhone manufacture timelines.

Furthermore, another report, sourced from the Zhengzhou Foxconn planet, has claimed that Apple Inc. is currently manufacturing nearly 200 unit iPhones per day, which indicates Apple has already slowed down its production range and a lot are expected to change before Apple starts producing hundreds of thousands of iPhone units.

In the second tweet about this report, Geskin also claims that iPhone 8 will be integrated with stainless steel frame, and high-end Touch ID which will sit beneath the display which means, Apple is forwarding its performance level of iPhone. And we can expect the iPhone 8 to ship with an in-screen Touch ID. As highlighted by some earlier leaked reports, iPhone 8 with exclusive premium features like 5.8-inch bezel-less display, Quad-core Apple A11 processor, storage option of 64/256 GB ROM and 3 GB RAM and a front-mounted fingerprint, is going to mark the biggest makeover of Apple’s iPhone module.
