Samsung has launched Galaxy J3 aka Galaxy J3 (6) in India with a 5-inch display and Sbike mode exclusively via Snapdeal at Rs. 8,990. Touted to target motorcycle riders, Samsung Galaxy J3 features a unique Sbike mode to provide a distraction-free riding experience and is regarded as the first device in the world to incorporate advanced features, which will be useful for auto enthusiasts.
By changing the setting of the phone to Do Not Disturb mode, you will not be able to receive any notifications unless there is an important call. Moreover, an automated message will be delivered to the person who makes the call with the message that the user is currently riding.
Integrated with motion sensing features, the Sbike mode is developed in such a way that the rider doesn’t pick the phone without stopping the bike. This feature will be useful to prevent accidents where bikers don’t follow rules while riding.
On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy J3 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.2GHz Quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is capable of expansion up to 128GB. Moreover, the device comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of TouchWiz UI and the revolutionary ultra-data saving mode.
While the Samsung Galaxy J3 is equipped with an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, the handset features a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. A 2,600mAh battery completes the package, which is capable of delivering 22 hours of talk-time and 349 hours of standby time.
In addition to 4G LTE, Samsung Galaxy J3 also features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB slots. Furthermore, Samsung had unveiled Galaxy J3 in China in 2016.
