Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, introducing the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. However, the company also teased the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, a device rumored to be the slimmest in Samsung’s lineup.
While details remain limited, Samsung showcased a refreshed design for the Galaxy S25 Edge, emphasizing its slim profile. Leaked information suggests the phone may launch in May and incorporate advanced silicon-carbon anode battery technology for improved longevity.
Battery Capacity and Charging
A recent leak from the 3C certificate website, as shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) on X, indicates the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge might house a 3900mAh battery. This capacity aligns with the phone’s slim design while remaining comparable to the 4,000mAh battery in the standard Galaxy S25. The leak also suggests the Galaxy S25 Edge will support 25W charging.
Design and Camera System
Samsung confirmed the Galaxy S25 Edge will sport a dual-camera system with a new design. While specifics are scarce, the company hinted at internal design modifications to achieve the phone’s slim form factor, along with a refreshed exterior.
Expected Specifications
Rumors suggest the Galaxy S25 Edge will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and feature a 6.66-inch display, similar in size to the Galaxy S24+. The camera system could include a 200-megapixel HP5 primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto lens.
