Samsung Unveils Exciting New Technologies at Galaxy Unpacked 2025

Samsung made waves at its Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, showcasing a range of innovative devices. Alongside the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, the South Korean tech giant teased a prototype of its highly anticipated triple-foldable smartphone, offering a glimpse into the future of mobile technology. The company also hinted at an upcoming VR headset and the impressively slim Galaxy S25 Edge.

A New Era of Foldable Phones

Samsung, already a leader in the foldable smartphone market, aims to further solidify its position with the introduction of a triple-foldable phone. This groundbreaking device, expected to launch in the latter half of the year, is rumored to boast a display size between 9.9 and 10 inches, folding down to a compact, pocketable size.

While Huawei’s Mate X utilizes an S-shaped design with its triple-foldable model, Samsung is reportedly opting for a G-style folding design incorporating two hinges. This innovative approach, first teased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) a few years ago, promises a unique user experience.

Galaxy S25 Edge: Sleek and Stylish

Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, a remarkably thin smartphone measuring just 6.4mm. This sleek device features a dual-camera setup on the back, differentiating it from the triple-camera system found on the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. The Galaxy S25 series starts at Rs 80,999 in the Indian market.

Limited Production Anticipated

Reports suggest that Samsung plans to produce a limited run of its triple-foldable smartphone, with only 200,000 units slated for release. This exclusivity adds to the allure of this cutting-edge device, designed to seamlessly transition between a tablet-like experience and a compact smartphone form.
