The Tata Curvv EV has officially launched, with bookings now open both online and at your nearest Tata dealership. Deliveries are set to start from August 23rd. Features And Safety Net
The Curvv EV boasts various cabin themes depending on the chosen variant. The top-spec model showcases a dual-tone black and white interior, along with a 4-spoke steering wheel reminiscent of the Tata Harrier-Safari duo.
The Curvv EV comes packed with features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and a 9-speaker JBL-tuned sound system. The top-spec variant’s infotainment system also features the Arcade.ev app suite, enabling users to enjoy games and OTT content.
Safety is paramount, with 6 airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Powertrain
The Curvv EV provides two battery pack options catering to diverse needs. The EV also incorporates V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) capabilities. With DC fast charging support at 70 kW, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes. A 7.2 kW AC charger is also included, capable of charging the 45 kWh battery pack from 10 to 100 percent in 6.5 hours, and the 55 kWh battery pack in approximately 8 hours.
Price and Rivals
The Tata Curvv EV prices range from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom pan-India). It presents a stylish alternative to the MG ZS EV and will compete with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti eVX.
