Triumph’s Daytona 660: Redefining Middleweight Performance

Triumph's Daytona 660

Triumph Motorcycles has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the all-new Daytona 660, a middleweight sports bike set to redefine the segment. Priced at Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom), this 2024 model combines thrilling performance, agile handling, and rider-centric features in a stylish package.

Unleashing the Power

At the heart of the Daytona 660 lies a potent triple-powered engine, capable of generating an impressive 95PS at 11,250rpm. With a redline set at 12,650rpm, the bike delivers exhilarating acceleration and a thrilling top-end rush. The engine’s broad torque curve ensures responsive performance across the rev range, with over 80% of its peak torque of 69Nm available from as low as 3,125rpm.

Precision Handling and Control

The Daytona 660’s lightweight sports frame, coupled with premium Showa suspension components, provides exceptional agility and control. The 41mm upside-down big-piston front forks and the Showa rear suspension unit work in harmony to deliver a smooth and composed ride, whether navigating tight corners or tackling challenging road surfaces. The bike’s ride-by-wire throttle system offers precise throttle response and facilitates three distinct riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain. These modes allow riders to tailor the bike’s performance to their preferences and prevailing conditions, ensuring optimal control and safety.

Comfort and Confidence

Triumph has prioritized rider comfort and accessibility with the Daytona 660. The split rider and pillion seats provide ample support, while the 810mm rider seat height and narrow stand-over width make the bike manageable for riders of varying statures. An optional accessory low seat further enhances accessibility, reducing the seat height to 785mm.

Enhanced Security and Peace of Mind

Triumph understands the importance of motorcycle security, and the Daytona 660 comes equipped with a range of features to protect your investment. The Triumph Protect+ alarm system and the Triumph Track+ tracker with 24/7 monitoring offer advanced security solutions, while a comprehensive selection of locks provides additional layers of protection.

A New Era of Middleweight Performance

The Triumph Daytona 660 represents a significant addition to the middleweight sports bike segment. Its combination of power, agility, comfort, and advanced features makes it an attractive option for riders seeking a thrilling and versatile motorcycle. With its competitive pricing and comprehensive offering, the Daytona 660 is poised to make a mark in the Indian market.
