The much awaited Xiaomi Mi 5 has been listed on GearBest, China’s largest online store, in three color variants i.e. Black, Golden, and White. The portal also reveals the specifications and image of the device, which look identical to what we saw few days back. However, the site hasn’t disclosed the pricing yet.
Designed using thin bezels, Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a physical home button below the display with power and volume rocker keys placed on its right-hand side. The image also reveals the location of the camera, dual-LED and dual tone flash.
Powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC processor paired with 4GB of RAM, Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to flaunt a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440, 565 PPI) display, 16GB of internal storage, 16MP primary camera, and 8MP front-facing shooter. There is also the possibility for a 64GB variant of the device, as per unconfirmed sources.
Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to ship with MIUI 7 OS on the top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. Regarding other specifications, Xiaomi Mi 5 will be fuelled with a 3,600mAh non-removable battery, a fingerprint scanner built into the physical home button, 4G LTE support and the rumored LED notification light.
Unlike other Xiaomi smartphones, Mi 5 will not offer a capability to expand the internal storage. Even though the specifications are based on various leaks, the listing appeared in one of the China’s largest online store.
Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to be available on the launch date itself, which is 20 February, 2016.
