Xiaomi has launched a wide range of new products at a launch event held in Beijing National Convention Center held on July 27. Dubbed as Millet 7.27 news conference, Xiaomi has unveiled Redmi Pro flagship smartphone, Pro 5, Mi Note Air and bunch of new accessories such as Mi LED Lamp and Mi Band 2.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro
Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone features a dual camera with special blur effects. The smartphone features a 13-megapixel Sony IMX 258 camera sensor paired with a 5-megapixel Samsung camera. Moreover, you can easily combine two Redmi Pro cameras to capture real-time information from the display.
The Redmi Pro has been manufactured with anodized, CNC grinding process via the all-metal body. The device makes use of a 2.5D glass front to enable the handset to appear as droplets. The camera integrated with Redmi Pro feature Bokeh-effect coupled with ImagiQ chipset, which is normally available in DSLR cameras.
On the specifications front, the Redmi Pro features a 5.5-inch power-efficient OLED display, Helio X25 processor, Mali-T880 graphics, 4GB RAM, 128GB internal storage powered by a 4050mAh battery. The device also includes a physical home button, which will serve as the fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro Pricing
The Redmi Pro ships in three variants in Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey colors. The Mediatek Helio X25, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage is priced at RMB 1999. You can buy the same processor model with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage at RMB 1699. Meanwhile, the third variant, available at RMB 1499 has an Helio X20 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Xiaomi also unveiled a budget-centric Pro 5 with Helio X20 series processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air
As expected, Xiaomi launched a new range of laptops with the name Mi Notebook Air. Talking about the specifications, the Mi Notebook Air features a 12.5-inch FHD display with full bonding technology to reduce glare, 6th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD expandable storage, NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX graphics.
The Mi Notebook Air is loaded with Windows 10 Home edition with two USB 3 ports, one USB Type-C port, HDMI and a 3.5mm headphone hack. The laptop also comes bundled with Mi cloud storage with the ability to unlock the device with Mi Band.
The Mi Notebook Air laptop is available in both 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch variants at RMB 3499 and RMB 4999 respectively. Moreover, the laptop also features dual speakers, Dolby surround sound. The device delivers up to 9.5 hours of battery life. You can charge the notebook to reach from zero to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
Accessories: Mi LED lamp, Mi Band 2
Xiaomi released a series of painting stickers compatible with the new Mi Notebook Air. The company also released three variants of laptop bag starting at RMB 69. The Mi Band 2 priced at RMB 149 has been released in four different variants with LED display. Xiaomi also released a Mi LED lamp for RMB 169.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be available via mall millet, millet home, Suning, Gome, Dixon pass, Music Language key customers in addition to the upcoming 2,149 retail outlets from August 6. We will keep you posted about the availability of other products launched today.
