AIRCEL Ties Up with ZTE for 4G LTE Ecosystem.

AIRCEL has made up its mind to enter the 4G broadband services provider segment and to facilitate this roll out, it has tied up with ZTE to plan, develop, and execute the LTE ecosystem for effective and fast data transmission.

AIRCEL would be the second telecommunications service provider to roll out the 4G services after Bharti AIRTEL. Moreover, in future we can expect more players jumping in to provide the same service, as RELIANCE JIO INFOCOMM expects soon to roll out the same service on pan India basis.

Aircel gears up to roll out LTE 4G services in India.

ZTE, a Chinese multinational telecom equipment, system and network solution provider will deploy the LTE ecosystem in Chennai and rest of Tamil Nadu (RoTN) for Aircel, as Aircel has 80% market share in Chennai. The LTE ecosystem stands for Long Term Evolution and is fourth generation standard for ultra-high speed wireless communications to be accessed on mobile phones and other data terminals. According to the ZTE India CEO, Xu Dejan, their aim is to provide Indian customers with highest data speed in excess of 65 Mbps.

The question is why Indian telecom service providers are in the race to roll out the 4G services. That is certainly, because nobody wants to be a market laggard and lose out in the competition. With sudden spurt in internet enabled gadgets, mobile handsets and tablets among young urban population of India has led the exponential growth in data usage, which in turn is churning greater profit for the service providers like Aircel and others.

Aircel had obtained 4G licences in eight circles across India and with rising demand for content growing at a faster pace and subsequent roll out of services will definitely crusade their profits to new highs. Aircel has taken a big step forward in India’s LTE ecosystem, which is still developing due to lack of affordable handsets that supports the technology, is not available. Nevertheless, with subsequent development and competition to provide high-speed data services at affordable prices, consumer will benefit a lot in long term.
